Request a Book:

Current student, staff and faculty may request loans of all types of library materials (i.e. books, CDs, Theses, etc...) via:

• Get It - Retrieval of Library materials with option to pickup at owning library or choice of campus library. On-campus delivery is also available for faculty and staff.
• Interlibrary Loan - Loans of books or other items not owned by the U of MN Libraries.
• Libraries to U - Off-campus delivery of books. Fee-based service

Loan services for unaffiliated patrons:

• InfoNOW - Fee-based delivery of individual loans available to individuals and corporations
• Friends of the Library - Borrowing privileges available for individual and corporate Friends members

Request an Article

Current student, staff and faculty may request articles via:

• Interlibrary Loan - Free electronic delivery of articles in material not owned by the U of MN Libraries.
• Bio-medical Library Article Delivery - Request articles from the print collection of the Bio-Medical Library that are not held at any of the St. Paul Campus Libraries or available electronically. Patrons and request up to 4 articles/day at no cost, and requests will be filled within 1-2 working days.
  This service is available to College of Veterinary Medicine/Academic Health Center-affiliated students, staff and faculty ONLY.
• PhotoDelivery - Fee-based delivery of articles owned at the Health Sciences Libraries (Bio-Medical Library, Veterinary Medical Library, Wangensteen Historical Library)
• Libraries to U - Fee-based delivery of articles from any library on the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus

Document delivery services for unaffiliated patrons:

• InfoNOW - Full-service, fee-based document delivery for corporate and commercial organizations
