Services to Support Teaching |
|
The Veterinary Medical Library supports teaching through integrated instruction, personalized workshops and other support mechanisms. We would like to assist you by coordinating our resources to be effectively utilized in both the areas of teaching and research.
In addition to those services listed on the right we have the ability to individualize library orientations, instruction and presentations in order to meet the specific needs of a particular class.
Please contact us through the reference desk at 612-626-3260 or by email: vetlib@umn.edu.
Librarians work with professors, teaching assistants, and staff to improve information literacy by providing in class instruction for print and electronic resources. Classes are tailored to the specific needs of the students and instructor in order to optimize their library research.
Resources and services identified collaboratively by professors, teaching assistants and librarians for use with specific courses. For examples please see: http://courses.lib.umn.edu/
