Replacement Costs and Processing Fees
Library materials not returned will be subject to maximum overdue fines, replacement costs, and a $10.00 processing fee.
Borrowers may provide the library with a replacement of the lost
item that is of the same or a later edition. Note that overdue and
processing fees will still apply, but the replacement fee will be
waived.
If an item that has been billed as lost is returned, replacement and
processing fees will be waived, but the patron is still responsible for
any overdue fines. Should a patron pay for a lost item, and later find
and return it to the library, the patron will be refunded the
replacement fee only. If a period of one year from the time the payment
was made passes and a lost item is returned, the patron is no longer
eligible for a refund.
