The public is always welcome to visit the Veterinary Medical Library in person and have free use of all our print and electronic resources.
Veterinarians living nearby can join the Friends of the Library to have the ability to check out items.
Access to a select group of electronic journals is also available for free through the Electronic Library of Minnesota (ELM) or for a membership fee through the University of Minnesota's Alumni Association.
